About Imagine Ireland  Imagine Ireland is a privately owned letting agency with Self Catering Holiday Cottages throughout Ireland, established by Annette and Astrid who have 13 years combined experience in the holiday letting business. The company, based near Skipton in North Yorkshire, is administered by Astrid. It comprises of a central reservations operation open 7 days a week in addition to the customer care, marketing and finance departments. Property recruitment is co-ordinated by Annette and is operated from the Irish office based in Ennis Co Clare.
The company’s objective is to provide personal service to you and maximise your rental income by either acting as your main agent filling your property throughout the season or working alongside you to supplement your own holiday bookings.
How Is My Property Marketed? Click on an image to the right to see examples of our website  All properties feature on our website www.imagineireland.com with selected properties featured in a very attractive brochure which is posted first class to all enquirer’s to arrive the next day.
Adverts will be placed nationally in all the UK's newspapers, quality periodicals, weekend supplements and special interest publications. Our website will have additional information screens, feature internal photography in addition to a facility to check on-line availability. A fully integrated promotional strategy to include direct-mail campaign reader offers, consumer competitions and overseas advertising will ensure that your property is gaining the exposure that will maximize your business.
How Do I Improve My Holiday Lettings? Exposure - you must let people know that you exist! There is no better more cost effective way than to be with an agency dedicated to advertising your property. Our marketing is meticulously researched, planned and implemented. We assess demand on a daily basis and are proactive in the promotion of our brochure and website. Selling – Our reservations centre is dedicated to the sale of holidays. It is open seven days a week from 9am to 9pm, 364 days a year. The reservations team are trained to be helpful, friendly and cross sell into other properties if the property the holidaymaker wanted is not available. By keeping us up to date with the availability of your holiday property we can secure the sale immediately.
Pricing – The real benefit to the holidaymaker is the package price an agency offers. Imagine Ireland works hard at securing the most competitive ferry rates thus making the overall package as attractive as possible
Are there any Costs or Hidden Terms? It is true! Our visit and our time is FREE!
FEES: There are no upfront fees to be paid, Imagine Ireland generates the business first to prove to you that you have chosen the right agency. A Registration fee of 75 euros is paid annually only once we have achieved at least 5 weeks bookings for you. If we do not perform for you, there are no costs.
FLEXIBILITY: This is a partnership, there are no penalties for taking your own bookings, and you can advertise your property anywhere provided you can work within our terms.
ADVANCE PAYMENTS: You will be paid on the 1st of every month for all bookings in that month. So on the 1st July you will receive all payments for bookings in July. Payments are made by direct transfer into your account or by cheque.
CANCELLATION PROTECTION: You are protected from unpredictable losses of income associated with cancelled holidays. You keep any monies already paid to you at the time of cancellation and for any holiday, if not yet paid within two weeks of the commencement date you receive 75% of the rental.
What Issues Do I Need to Consider?
PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE:This is a condition of acceptance by Imagine Ireland. We have negotiated rates with an insurance company, which we can give you on our visit.
FURNITURE & FIRE SAFETY REGULATIONS:Furniture and furnishings must comply with this act. The provision of fire extinguishers and smoke alarms are compulsory.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:Cleanliness is godliness and the responsibility of the owner.
Why Should I Join Imagine Ireland? FEES: There are no upfront fees to be paid. Imagine Ireland generates the business first to prove to you that you have chosen the right agency. If you feature in our annual brochure there is an annual registration fee of €160 , this is only payable upon receiving ten letting weeks. If you feature only on our website, the annual registration fee is €75 payable upon receiving five letting weeks

Communication: On receipt of a confirmed booking Imagine Ireland will alert you immediately by texting to your mobile phone. You will be texted the dates of the booking and the name of the party. A confirmation via Email and Post which follow which will outline the numbers in the party, the beds to be made up and the transportation arrangements if the holidaymakers are traveling by ferry. On a monthly basis you will receive an Arrival Report outlining all bookings taken on your property including your own "owner bookings". A statement of payments will also be included if you are due payment that month. Annually you will receive a booking planner to help you keep track of your bookings.
ADVANCE PAYMENTS: You will be paid on the 1st of the month for any holidays taken that month i.e. for any bookings taken in July you will receive full payment on the 1st of July Payment is made by direct transfer into your bank account. Payments can be made by cheque but due to postal delays can take up to five working days.

 We will visit your holiday property at a mutually convenient time. The property will be assessed and digitally photographed, your price and our terms and conditions will be discussed with you. 
Once you sign our agency agreement - this gives us your written permission to let your property on your behalf - your property, both external and internal photographs are featured on our website.
You will approve the brochure description before going to print in our annual brochure and website. On an annual basis you will be asked to re-register your property.

Annette –Joint Managing Director
Annette (38) resides in Ireland, in the market town of Ennis, Co Clare, on Ireland's West Coast. Annette is married with two children, has a degree in Hotel Management and has been in the self-catering industry in Ireland and the UK for over 10 years. In 2003, Annette teamed up with Astrid to develop the Imagine Ireland brand with an emphasis on and a commitment to value-for-money, affordable self-catering holidays. Imagine Ireland has since become one of the UK and Irelands' fastest growing holiday companies with 500 city, country and coastal-based properties. Annette is personally involved in working closely with owners in developing market-led standards and pricing. 2007/08 will see the company grow to 1100 Irish properties in addition to the eagerly awaited launch of Imagine France.
Astrid – Joint Managing Director
Astrid, (41) resides in the North Yorkshire Dales with her husband and 2 children, 2 dogs and 2 horses! Astrid has a degree in Business Studies and a Masters in European Studies and successfully ran a walking holiday company before moving into the holiday cottage letting industry over 10 years ago which culminated in setting up Imagine Ireland with Annette. Astrid’s financial capabilities, negotiation skills and statistical analysis have ensured that holidaymakers are getting the best price for their holiday which will likewise underpin the company’s move into France with the launch of Imagine France in January 2008.
Rebecca – Customer / Owner Liaison
Rebecca, (40) resides in the village of Gargrave. She has visited every corner of Ireland, meeting property owners, inspecting, grading and digitally photographing our holiday property base. She also has experience in reservations.
Adam - Admin Administrator
Adam (25) resides in the village of Hellifield and works in the administration department. He ensures the smooth processing of confirmation forms, payments and the booking of ferries
